Kristen is a talented dancer with years of experience as a student, instructor and performer. Kristen combines a passion for hip-hop, jazz and lyrical dance; along with extensive training in ballet, lyrical, ballroom, pointe, modern and adagio dance. In her second year with Culture Shock, Kristen dances and performs throughout the country. Kristen is a very important key to the success of Las Vegas Dance Shoppe and holds the position of Store Manager. Marisa is one of those gifted people who light up a room and bring joy to others. Marisa has a natural love of people and is fantastic with children. She is also our resident "Tap Dance" expert and really knows her stuff. Marisa is currently a Freshman at UNLV studying Film. Sunny Vogel - Sales Associate Areas of Interest and Training Experience & Achievements Began dancing at the age of 3 Studied at the Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts until the age of 10 and went "on pointe" at the age of 12 Studied with Ed Rumburger at Viva Pastor's Academy of Dance Taught dance at Nevada Ballet Theatre Studied at Marie Mayova Dance Academy Currently dances at the Dance Center with Tara Foy, and at Studio 34 with Amber Sorgato. Sunny is also a Rebel Girl Dance Team member at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The UNLV Dance Team made history by being the first UNLV dance team to make it to the Finals at the UDA's National Competition where they placed 3rd. Placed 1st in the nation at the recent Nationals Competion recently held here in Las Vegas
Sunny has also worked many freelance jobs including Farington Productions and the opening for JET.
We are proud of Sunny's great talent as a dancer and of her accomplishments in the field of dance. Yet we know there are still great things ahead for her as she pursues future challenges. Sunny already has 4 years of experience as a sales associate at Las Vegas Dance Shoppe. Her extensive dance and retail experience make her a valuable resource at the store. Sunny knows how dance shoes and dancewear should feel and fit and will guide young dancers into making good decisions on selecting the right items. Danced at MAGIC Conventions at ages ten through 12 Member of Greenspun Junior High Dance Team Member of Future Shock in 8th and 9th grade Began Cheering in the 7th grade at Greenspun, through her senior year of high school at Coronado High. Lauren is an accomplished dancer already achieving impressive credentials at such a young age. We are happy to have her return to the Dance Shoppe for a second time, and appreciate her expertise. An experienced dancer, Lauren is a great resource for young dancers when they come to the store. She knows the importance of proper fitting dance shoes, and has a keen eye for fashion items as well. Despite her busy schedule, Lauren has her priorities straight and is a freshman at UNLV with plans to get her degree in Nursing. |
